After careful consideration, and a lot of deliberations, we have decided to postpone TLVAD 2021 to October 17-19, 2021, instead of June 13-15, as originally planned.
As you know, it has been our goal from the beginning to hold an in-person event in Tel-Aviv and continue the wonderful tradition we have built over the past few years of bringing together hundreds of delegates from Israel and around the world in Tel-Aviv. This year we met with the difficult challenge of organizing the event during the Covid pandemic, and making sure that our international partners, sponsors, speakers, and delegates, can physically travel to Israel. We are very proud that notwithstanding the challenges we developed an amazing program, with a spectacular roster of speakers ensuring TLVAD 2021 meets the high standard set by our previous events. We even (largely!) managed to overcome the difficulties posed by travel restrictions and were already preparing to welcome most of our guests in person, with an online solutions for those who could not travel.
However, as we are sure you will understand, the recent security developments, coupled with the Covid challenges, make it impossible for us to host the TLVAD 2021 conference on the dates planned.
We therefore took the very difficult decision to postpone TLVAD 2021 to October 17-19 2021, which will ensure our delegates from Israel and around the world will be able to join us in person, hopefully without any Covid related restrictions and without any security issues. That will hopefully allow us to come together, colleagues and friends, and meet again after more than a year, on the seaside of sunny Tel-Aviv! Out of an abundance of caution we will continue to offer a hybrid conference in 2021 regardless of the new dates by which time we hope that any travel restrictions will be cancelled or at least greatly reduced.
We look forward to seeing you all in October!
